Playing Cards by Joshua Perry
I was commissioned to create this set of playing cards for the Chicago Toy and Game Group, the fourth in their annual series, shortly after moving to the city.
Despite the fast turnaround this was a really fun project. The theme I chose was 3 kids who get into an adults’ costume wardrobe and play dress up with different cultures of royalty.
I’ve included here both sketches and the finished pieces. The set was printed by 360 Manufacturing and will be distributed to participants of November 2014’s T&G Inventor Con, here in Chicago.
